Your Installable App (PWA)

Why: Enhance your subscribers' experience by offering an installable app on their devices. This allows them to access your content easily, receive notifications, and enjoy an app-like experience.

Navigate: App Station > Settings > App Settings

Quick Start

  1. Click PWA Settings in the App Station.

  2. Upload your app icon (minimum 512x512 pixels).

  3. Submit your PWA setup request.

  4. Wait for confirmation that your request is completed.

  5. Instruct your members to install the app from their browser.


Understanding Your Installable App

With the PWA functionality, your app can be installed directly on your members' devices, making it more accessible and user-friendly. This feature allows your subscribers to enjoy an app-like experience without needing to go through traditional app stores.

Customizing Your App

As an admin, you can customize several key elements of your installable app:

  • App Icon: Upload an image that represents your brand. Ensure it meets the minimum requirement of 512x512 pixels and is in PNG or JPG format.

  • Splash Screen: This is the screen that appears when your app is launched. It typically features your app icon and name.

  • App Name: This is how your app will be identified on your members' devices.

How Members Install the App

Once your PWA is set up and enabled, your members can easily install the app:

  • They will see an install prompt automatically when they visit your app in their browser.

  • Alternatively, they can click the Install App option from their avatar dropdown menu.

  • For manual installation, they can visit the /app-install page, which provides installation instructions specific to their device.

Requesting PWA Setup

To get started with your installable app, follow these steps:

  1. Go to App Station and select Settings.

  2. Click on PWA Settings.

  3. Upload your app icon and submit the request.

Once submitted, your request will be processed, and you will receive an email confirmation once the setup is complete.

Monitoring Your Request Status

You can check the status of your PWA setup request in the PWA Settings section. The status can be:

  • Pending: Your request is awaiting processing.

  • In Progress: The setup is currently being configured.

  • Completed: Your PWA is now enabled and ready for your members to install.
