What is Zapier Integration?

The Zapier integration allows you to automate tasks between your app and other services without needing to write any code. This means you can streamline processes, such as adding new members to your email list or notifying your team when a subscription is canceled.

Setting Up the Integration

To connect your app to Zapier, follow these steps:

  1. Connect Your App: Click the Connect button in Zapier. This will redirect you to your app's authorization page.

  2. Authorize Access: Log in to your app and authorize Zapier to access your data.

  3. Choose Triggers and Actions: Once connected, you can select from various triggers and actions to automate your workflows.

Available Triggers

Triggers are events that start a Zap. Here are some key triggers you can use:

  • New User: Fires when a new user is created in your app.

  • User Suspended: Fires when a user is blocked from accessing the app.

  • Subscription Started: Fires when a new subscription begins.

  • New Purchase: Fires when any checkout is completed.

For a complete list of triggers, see the Triggers section.

Available Actions

Actions are the tasks that Zapier performs in response to a trigger. Here are some common actions:

  • Create User: Adds a new user to your app.

  • Update User: Modifies an existing user's information.

  • Grant Access Level: Provides a user with access to specific content.

  • Revoke Access Level: Removes a user's access to content.

For more details on actions, refer to the Actions section.

Using Triggers and Actions Together

To create an effective Zap, you can combine triggers and actions. For example:

  • Trigger: New User

  • Action: Add to Email Marketing List

This setup ensures that every time a new user signs up, they are automatically added to your email marketing platform.

Tips for Using Zapier

Tip: Start with individual triggers if you're on the free tier of Zapier. This allows you to create simple Zaps without needing to configure complex paths.

Tip: Explore combined triggers if you upgrade to a paid Zapier plan. This feature lets you handle multiple scenarios in one Zap, making your automation even more powerful.
