Nutritional values are calculated in one of 2 ways, per ingredient or per recipe. For sites using English, nutrition calculation is done per ingredient as the app can lookup values based on the English ingredient names.

This presents a challenge for non-English apps, so by default, they are configured to have nutrition calculated per recipe. This allows for nutrition to be entered once for the entire recipe. When doing this, remember to enter the per serving values.

However, you can also use custom ingredients that can be reused once created. As you build your library of ingredients, the process of creating recipes either in bulk insert or individual mode will become easier.
