Billing and Revenue

Why: Gain insights into your app's financial health by viewing billing information, revenue dashboards, and member subscription statuses. This helps you make informed decisions to grow your business.

Navigate: App Station > Monetization > Billing

Quick Start

  1. Click on Monetization in the App Station sidebar.

  2. Select Billing to view billing information.

  3. Review the current plan details, including billing amount and next billing date.

  4. Navigate to Analytics and select Members & Revenue to access the revenue dashboard.

  5. Check member subscription statuses and engagement metrics.


Billing Information

The Billing section provides a comprehensive overview of your app's financials, including subscription details and member billing information.

Current Plan Display

  • View active subscriptions along with their status.

  • Check the billing amount, currency, and billing interval.

  • See the next billing date and any trial status with the trial end date.

  • Identify if a subscription is set to cancel at the end of the period.

One-Time Purchases

  • Access a list of any lifetime or duration-based purchases made by members.

  • View purchase dates and expiration details, if applicable.

  • Check the access status of these purchases (active, expired, or canceled).

Invoice History

  • Review a table of past invoices, including dates, amounts, and statuses.

  • Download invoice PDFs directly from the table for your records.

Manage Subscription

  • Use the Manage Subscription button to open the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab.

  • From the portal, you can update payment methods, view billing history, cancel subscriptions, and manage subscription settings.

Revenue Dashboard

The Members & Revenue dashboard offers valuable insights into your app's performance and member engagement.

Member Overview

  • Get counts for each subscription status, including total members, active members, trialing members, and those who have canceled or are past due.

  • Monitor member engagement metrics, such as daily, weekly, and monthly active users.

Plan Breakdown

  • Visualize how members are distributed across different access levels with a doughnut chart.

Member Growth Chart

  • Track daily new member signups over a selected period with a line chart.

Revenue Summary

  • When connected to Stripe, view key revenue metrics, including total revenue, successful charges, refunds, and active subscriptions.

  • If you don't have a connected Stripe account, the dashboard will prompt you to connect to see revenue data.

Period Selector

  • Analyze data over different time periods, such as the last 7 days, 30 days, or by month.
