Why: Enhance member interaction and satisfaction by tracking engagement through favorites, ratings, comments, and gamification. These features help you create a more dynamic and rewarding experience for your subscribers.
Navigate: App Station > Settings > Engagement
Quick Start
Click on Engagement in the Settings menu.
Toggle the Favorites, Ratings, and Comments features on or off as desired.
Select the content types you want to enable for each feature.
Customize the appearance (e.g., heart color for favorites, star color for ratings).
Save your changes.
Engagement Features Overview
The engagement system allows you to track how your members interact with your content. You can enable and configure the following features:
Favorites
Enable/Disable: Allow members to save content as favorites.
Content Types: Choose which types of content (recipes, meal plans, etc.) can be favorited.
Customization: Select a heart color to match your app's branding.
Ratings
Enable/Disable: Allow members to rate content on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.
Content Types: Decide which content types can be rated.
Customization: Choose a star color for the rating system.
Comments
Enable/Disable: Allow members to leave comments on your content.
Content Types: Select which content types can have comments.
Moderation: Choose between pre-approval or reactive moderation for comments.
Max Length: Set a maximum character limit for comments.
Configuring Engagement Features
To configure these features, follow these steps:
Access the Engagement Settings: Navigate to the Engagement section in App Station.

Favorites Configuration:
Toggle the Favorites feature on.
Select which content types will have the favorites option.
Pick a heart color to represent favorites.
Ratings Configuration:
Toggle the Ratings feature on.
Choose the content types that can be rated.
Select a star color for the ratings.
Comments Configuration:
Toggle the Comments feature on.
Select the content types that can have comments.
Choose your moderation mode (pre-approval or reactive).
Set the maximum comment length.
Save Changes: Ensure you save your settings to apply the changes.
Gamification Features
The gamification system adds an engaging layer to your app by allowing members to earn points, badges, and compete on leaderboards. Here’s how it works:
Key Features
Points Economy: Members earn points for actions like favoriting content, rating recipes, and posting comments.
Achievement Badges: Members can earn badges for reaching milestones, such as their first favorite or completing a challenge.
Leaderboards: Display top point earners to encourage competition among members.
Rewards System: Define rewards that members can claim with their points.
Configuring Gamification
Access Gamification Settings: Go to the Gamification section in App Station.

Enable Gamification: Toggle the feature on to start tracking member engagement.
Set Point Values: Customize how many points members earn for specific actions.
Manage Badges: Create and manage achievement badges that members can earn.
Set Up Leaderboards: Decide if you want to enable public leaderboards for members to see their rankings.
Completion Tracking
The completions system allows members to track content they have completed, such as recipes they've cooked or challenges they've finished. This feature supports gamification by enabling badge earning for completed tasks.
Key Features
Track Progress: Members can mark content as completed, helping them keep track of their achievements.
Multiple Completion Types: Different labels for various content types (e.g., "I Made This" for recipes).
Gamification Integration: Completing content can trigger badge awards.

Access Completions Settings: Go to the Completions section in App Station.
