Navigate: App Station > Settings > Comments
Quick Start
Click on Settings in the App Station menu.
Select Comments from the options.
Toggle the Enable Comments option to turn on or off.
Choose your preferred Moderation Mode (Pre-Approval or Reactive).
Save your changes.
Overview of the Comments System
The comments system allows your members to leave feedback on your content, such as recipes, meal plans, and blog posts. You can respond to these comments, creating a supportive environment for your subscribers.

User Comments: Members can leave comments on enabled content types.
Admin Replies: You can respond to comments, providing acknowledgment or support.
Moderation Modes: Choose between pre-approval (comments require your approval before being visible) or reactive (comments are visible immediately).

Configuring Comments
To set up the comments system for your app, follow these steps:
Enabling Comments
In the Comments settings, toggle the Enable Comments option to activate the feature.
Select the content types where you want comments to be allowed (e.g., recipes, meal plans, blog posts).
Choose your Moderation Mode:
Pre-Approval: All comments require your approval before being published.
Reactive: Comments are published immediately and can be hidden later if necessary.
Set the Max Comment Length (default is 2000 characters) to control how long comments can be.

Moderating Comments
Once comments are enabled, you can manage them through the moderation queue.
Moderation Modes Explained
Pre-Approval Mode:
When a member submits a comment, it is marked as PENDING_APPROVAL.
You can review comments in the moderation queue and either approve or hide them.
Approved comments will be marked as PUBLISHED and visible to all members.
Reactive Mode:
Comments are published immediately upon submission.
You can later hide any inappropriate comments if needed.
Accessing the Moderation Queue
To view and manage comments:
Go to the Comments settings in the App Station.
Click on Comments Queue to see all pending comments for moderation.
Additional Features
Daily Comment Digest
You can opt to receive a daily email digest summarizing new comments. This helps you stay updated on member feedback and manage comments efficiently.
Enable the digest in your personal notification settings (Profile > Notifications).
You will receive a summary of new comments and any pending approvals.
Forum Integration
If you have a community forum enabled, the Discuss in Community button will appear on your content detail pages. This allows members to transition from commenting to engaging in broader discussions.
