Why: Save time and effort by quickly creating copies of existing meal plans. This feature allows you to maintain consistency while tailoring meal plans to different needs or occasions.
Navigate: App Station > Content Library > Meal Plans > [Meal Plan] > Duplicate
Quick Start
Go to the Content Library in your App Station.
Click on Meal Plans.
Select the meal plan you want to duplicate.
Click the Duplicate button.
Edit the title if desired, then save the new meal plan.

Overview of the Duplication Feature
The duplication feature allows you to create a complete copy of an existing meal plan, including all related data such as media images, sessions, prep tasks, tags, and access levels. This is particularly useful when you want to create similar meal plans without starting from scratch.
Who Can Duplicate Meal Plans
Admins: Always able to duplicate meal plans, which creates an unpublished draft.
Members: Can duplicate meal plans if they have the
canModifyMealPlanspermission on their access level. This creates a member-owned copy.If a member does not have the required permission, they will be denied access.
What Gets Duplicated
When you duplicate a meal plan, the following elements are copied:
Content: Title, summary, and notes. The title defaults to "Original (Copy)".
Meal Plan Settings: Dates, layout configuration, and prep notes.
Sessions: All meal plan sessions are duplicated with remapped references.
Media Images: Images are copied to new paths.
Tags: All tags associated with the original meal plan are applied to the duplicate.
Access Levels: The same access level restrictions are maintained.
Note: Videos are not duplicated, but images are.
Steps to Duplicate a Meal Plan
Access the Meal Plan: Navigate to the Content Library and select Meal Plans.
Select the Meal Plan: Click on the meal plan you want to duplicate.
Click Duplicate: Find and click the Duplicate button in the content actions menu.
Edit the Title (Optional): You can change the default title if desired.
Save the Duplicate: Save your new meal plan, which will be created as an unpublished draft.
Differences from Personal Copy
It's important to note the distinctions between duplicating a meal plan and creating a personal copy:
Purpose: Duplicates are for full content replication, while personal copies are for member customization.
Who Can Create: Duplicates can be made by both admins and authorized members, while personal copies are restricted to members only.
Media Handling: Duplicates copy images but skip videos, whereas personal copies do not copy any media.
Session Duplication: All sessions are fully copied in duplicates, while personal copies do not include sessions.
Tips for Effective Meal Plan Duplication
Use Descriptive Titles: When duplicating, consider giving the new meal plan a descriptive title that reflects its purpose.
Review Access Levels: After duplication, check the access levels to ensure the right members can view the new meal plan.
Customize as Needed: Feel free to adjust the content of the duplicated meal plan to better fit your audience or specific dietary needs.
