Why: Save time and effort by quickly creating duplicates of existing resources. This feature allows you to easily replicate guides, PDFs, or embedded content for your members, ensuring consistency and efficiency in your content creation process.

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Content Library in your App Station.

  2. Select Resources from the menu.

  3. Click on the resource you want to duplicate.

  4. Click the Duplicate (✨) button.

  5. Edit the duplicated resource as needed and save it as a draft.

Detailed Instructions

How to Duplicate a Resource

Duplicating a resource is straightforward and can significantly streamline your content creation process. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Access the Content Library: Start by navigating to the Content Library in your App Station. From there, click on Resources to view all your existing resources.

  2. Select the Resource: Find the resource you want to duplicate. Click on it to open the resource detail page.

  3. Duplicate the Resource: In the resource detail view, look for the Duplicate (✨) button. Click this button to create a copy of the resource.

  4. Review the Duplicated Resource: The duplicated resource will be created as a draft. This means it won’t be visible to your members until you publish it. The duplicate will include:

    • Body content and embed codes

    • Cover images

    • PDF attachments

    • Tags

    • Access levels

  5. Edit as Needed: Open the duplicated resource to make any necessary changes. You can update the title, modify the content, or adjust the tags and access levels before publishing.

Important Notes

  • Independent Copies: The images and PDF files in the duplicated resource are independent copies. This means that if you delete the duplicate, the original resource will remain unaffected.

  • Video Content: Please note that videos hosted on video streaming services will not be duplicated. Only the embed codes will be copied over.

  • Admin-Only Feature: This duplication feature is only available to admins, owners, and superadmins. Regular members do not have access to duplicate resources.

Best Practices

  • Use the duplication feature to create variations of popular resources quickly. This can help you maintain a consistent look and feel across your content.

  • Regularly review and update your duplicated resources to keep them relevant for your members.
