Why: Streamline your content management by applying changes to multiple items at once. This saves you time and ensures consistency across your recipes, meal plans, and resources.
Navigate: App Station > Content Library > [select items]
Quick Start
Go to the Content Library in your App Station.
Use the Recipe Filter to find the recipes you want to edit.
Select the recipes by clicking the checkboxes next to them.
Click on the Actions dropdown menu and choose a bulk action (e.g., Add Tags, Set Visibility, or Replace Ingredient).
Follow the prompts to complete the action.
Overview of Bulk Editing
The bulk editing feature allows you to manage multiple content items efficiently. You can perform various actions such as:
Publish or unpublish content
Set visibility for specific audiences
Add or remove tags and categories
Replace ingredients across selected recipes
Delete content items
Selecting Multiple Items
You can select multiple items in the Content Library using the following methods:
Click the checkbox next to each item to select it.
Shift-click to select a range of items between the last selected and the current item.
Advanced Filtering
To make it easier to find the content you want to edit, use the advanced filtering options. You can filter by content type, status, visibility, tags, and more.
Replacing Ingredients
When you select multiple recipes, the Actions menu will display an Ingredients group with a Replace Ingredient option. This feature allows you to replace one ingredient with another across all selected recipes.
How to Replace Ingredients
Select Recipes: Use the Recipe Filter to find recipes containing the ingredient you want to replace.
Choose the Replace Ingredient Option: After selecting the recipes, go to the Actions dropdown and select Replace Ingredient.
Pick Ingredients: In the modal that opens, choose the source ingredient (the one to replace) and the target ingredient (the replacement).
Confirm the Action: Once you confirm, the system will update all recipe lines referencing the source ingredient across the selected recipes.
Note: The nutrition data and shopping lists will be automatically recalculated after this action.
Typical Workflow for Replacing Ingredients
Use the Recipe Filter to find recipes containing the ingredient you want to replace.
Select all filtered recipes (or a subset).
Open Actions > Ingredients > Replace Ingredient.
Pick the source ingredient and the replacement ingredient.
Confirm the replacement.
