You can import recipes using the following formats:
PDF (.pdf)
Word (.docx, .doc)
Excel (.xlsx, .xls)

Additionally, you can import recipes directly from a website URL. This allows the system to extract recipe data automatically, which you can review before saving.
Importing Recipes from Files
Upload Your File: In the Recipe Import section, click the Upload File button to select your recipe file from your computer.
Processing: Once uploaded, the system will process your file and extract the recipe data. You will be notified when this is complete.

Importing Recipes from a URL

Serving Mode Configuration
When importing recipes, you can specify the Serving Mode for each recipe using the provided template. This allows you to indicate whether the recipe is based on servings or yield.
If a recipe has yield data but no servings, the system will automatically detect it as a yield-based recipe.
The Serving Mode can be set to either SERVINGS or YIELD in the import template.
Best Practices for File Preparation
Use clear, high-quality documents where text is selectable (avoid scanned images).
Ensure each recipe is on a separate page for best results.
Clearly list ingredients and instructions to improve extraction accuracy.
Post-Import Ingredient Review
After importing, you may need to review ingredients for accuracy. This is especially important if the system flagged any ingredients during the extraction process. You can access the ingredient review section from the Ingredients settings page.
