Why: Engage your members by sharing announcements and allowing them to react with emojis. This feature enhances communication and feedback, making your app more interactive.
Navigate: App Station > Announcements
Quick Start
Click on Announcements in the App Station.
Select Create Announcement.
Enter your announcement details and click Send.
Go to Engagement Settings to configure reaction options.
Choose up to 5 emojis for member reactions and toggle visibility for reaction counts.

Creating Announcements
To create an announcement, follow these steps:
In the App Station, navigate to Announcements.
Click on Create Announcement.
Fill in the title and content of your announcement.
Choose whether to send it immediately or schedule it for later.
Click Send to share your announcement with your members.
Tip: Make your announcements engaging by using clear, concise language and including any relevant links or resources.
Configuring Reactions
You can enhance member engagement by allowing them to react to your announcements. Here’s how to configure the reaction settings:
Navigate to App Station > Features > Engagement.
Toggle the Enable Reactions option to turn the feature on or off.
Decide if you want to Show Reaction Counts to your members.
Select up to 5 custom emojis for reactions or use the default set.
The default emoji set includes:
😍 Love/Excellent
👍 Positive/Like
😐 Neutral
😕 Confused/Uncertain
👎 Negative/Dislike
Note: Members can only react to announcements that have been sent. Each member can choose one reaction per announcement, and clicking the same emoji again will remove their reaction.
Viewing Reactions
As an admin, you can see how your members are reacting to announcements:
Reaction summaries are displayed in the announcements list.
You can view detailed reaction counts for each emoji used by members.
This feedback can help you understand member sentiment and adjust your content strategy accordingly.
Interaction with Other Features
The reactions feature is integrated with other engagement tools in your app. Reactions will also be visible in the SpotlightModal and the notifications page, providing members with a seamless experience when interacting with announcements.
Tip: Regularly check the engagement metrics to see how your announcements are performing and adjust your content strategy based on member feedback.
