Detailed Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the Content Library

Start by logging into your App Station and navigating to the Content Library. This is where you manage all your recipes, meal plans, and other content.

Step 2: Import from URL

In the Content Library, locate the Import button. Click on it to reveal a dropdown menu, then select Import from URL.

Step 3: Copyright Acknowledgment

Before proceeding, you'll see a copyright warning. This is important because it reminds you that the content you are importing may be copyrighted. You must check the acknowledgment box to proceed with the import.

Step 4: Paste the Recipe URL

Once you’ve acknowledged the copyright warning, you can paste the URL of the recipe you wish to import into the provided field. After entering the URL, click the Extract button.

Step 5: Review the Extracted Recipe Summary

The system will fetch the recipe data from the URL and present a summary that includes the title, preparation times, servings, steps, and nutrition information. Take a moment to review this summary to ensure everything looks correct.

Step 6: Edit Ingredients

Next, you’ll see the extracted ingredients. Here, you can:

  • Adjust amounts and units as needed.

  • Search for existing ingredients in your library to ensure consistency.

  • Create new ingredients if necessary.

  • Remove any ingredients that are not needed.

Make sure to review each ingredient carefully to ensure accuracy.

Step 7: Insert Ingredients

Once you are satisfied with the ingredients, click the Insert Ingredients button. This action saves the ingredients to your recipe.

Step 8: Final Adjustments

After inserting the ingredients, you can open the recipe in the editor for any final adjustments. This is your chance to add personal touches or additional information before publishing.

Member Access

If you enable the Import from URL feature in the access levels, your members can also use this feature to import recipes. Remember, they will need the appropriate access level to do so.

Note: You must acknowledge the copyright warning every time you import a recipe from a URL. This ensures you are aware of the content's copyright status.
