Why: Enhance your app's recipe search experience by creating quick-filter chips. This allows your members to easily find recipes that meet their specific needs, improving engagement and satisfaction.
Navigate: App Station > Content Library > Recipes > Filter Presets
Quick Start
Go to App Station and select Content Library.
Click on Filter Presets.
Click Add New Preset.
Fill in the preset details, including category, label, and filter configuration.
Click Save to create your new filter preset.
Overview
Recipe filter presets allow you to customize the quick-filter chips shown in the advanced recipe search interface. These presets enable your members to quickly apply common filter combinations with a single click, making it easier for them to find the recipes they want.
Managing Filter Presets
You can manage your recipe filter presets directly in the App Station. Here’s how:
Accessing Filter Presets
Navigate to App Station.
Click on Content Library.
Select Filter Presets.
Adding a New Preset
To create a new filter preset:
Click the Add New Preset button.
Choose a category for your preset: Nutrition, Time, or Servings.
Enter a unique Label for the preset.
Configure the filter settings based on the selected category:
Nutrition: Set nutritional values (e.g., calories, protein).
Time: Define cooking and prep time limits.
Servings: Specify the number of servings.
Set the Order to determine the display order of the preset.
Toggle the Active status to enable or disable the preset.
Click Save to finalize your new preset.
Editing or Deleting a Preset
To edit or delete an existing preset:
Find the preset in the list.
Click the Edit button to modify the preset details.
To delete, click the Delete button and confirm your choice.
Reordering Presets
You can reorder presets by adjusting their order number. Simply edit the preset and change the Order value to your desired position.
Filter Categories
Your filter presets can be categorized into three main types:
Nutrition: Filter recipes based on nutritional values such as calories, protein, carbs, and more.
Time: Filter recipes by cooking and prep time, helping members find quick meals.
Servings: Filter recipes based on the number of servings, ideal for meal planning.
Default Presets
When you first set up your app, you will have default presets available:
Nutrition: Low Calorie, High Protein, Low Carb, Low Fat
Time: ≤15 min, ≤30 min, ≤1 hour, 1+ hour
Servings: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 6+
These can be edited or deleted as needed.
Member Experience
Once you have set up your filter presets, they will appear as clickable chips in the recipe search interface. This allows your members to easily filter recipes based on their preferences, enhancing their overall experience with your app.
