Navigate: App Station > Content Library > Any Content > General tab > Notes field

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Content Library in your App Station.

  2. Select any content item to edit.

  3. Click on the General tab.

  4. In the Notes field, type @ to trigger the content search dropdown.

  5. Select the desired content item from the dropdown to insert the mention.

How to Use @ Mentions in Notes

Using the @ symbol in the Notes field allows you to create links to other content within your app. This feature is available for all content types, including recipes, meal plans, resources, journeys, blog posts, and courses.

Triggering the Content Search

When you are in the Notes field:

  1. Type the @ symbol. This action will open a dropdown list of all available content in your app.

  2. As you type, the dropdown will filter to show matching content items.

Selecting a Content Item

To link to a specific content item:

  1. Use the arrow keys or your mouse to navigate through the dropdown list.

  2. Click on the desired item or press Enter to insert it into your notes.

Once selected, the mention will appear as a highlighted tag in the editor.

What It Looks Like in the Editor

The inserted mention will look like this in the Notes field:

  • @Chocolate Cake will appear as a highlighted mention tag.

How It Appears to Members

When your members view the content, the mention will be rendered as a clickable link. For example, if you wrote:

"You might pair this with @Chocolate Cake for dessert."

Members will see:

"You might pair this with Chocolate Cake for dessert."

Clicking the link will take them directly to the recipe detail page for Chocolate Cake.

Tips for Using Mentions Effectively

  • Pairing Suggestions: Use mentions to suggest complementary recipes or resources. This can enhance the user experience and encourage members to explore more content.

  • Cross-Referencing Related Content: Link to related blog posts or courses within your notes to provide additional context or information.

  • Keep It Relevant: Ensure that the content you mention is relevant to the notes. This helps maintain clarity and usefulness for your subscribers.

By effectively using @ mentions, you can create a rich, interconnected experience for your members, making it easier for them to navigate and discover your content.
