Why: Streamline your members' grocery shopping experience by integrating with popular grocery delivery services. This feature allows members to send their shopping list ingredients directly to their preferred grocery service, making meal prep easier and more efficient.
Navigate: App Station > Settings > Integrations > Grocery
Quick Start
Go to App Station and select Settings.
Click on Integrations and then Grocery.
Enable the desired grocery integrations (Instacart, Walmart, Appetise).
Enter any required configuration details, such as partner IDs for Appetise.
Save your changes.
Overview of Grocery Integrations
Member Kitchens offers three grocery shopping integrations to enhance your members' experience:
Instacart: Members can shop for ingredients directly from their shopping lists using Instacart. This integration is available for users in the US and Canada.
Walmart: Members can send their shopping list ingredients to Walmart for in-store pickup or delivery. This integration is also available for users in the US.
Appetise: A grocery shopping option for members in Australia and New Zealand, allowing them to shop online through Appetise.
Member Experience
When members access their shopping lists, they will see options to shop with the enabled grocery services. Each service provides a seamless experience:
Instacart: Members click "Shop with Instacart," and their shopping list is transformed into a shopping list page on Instacart. They can then proceed to checkout on Instacart's site.
Walmart: Members click "Shop at Walmart," enter their zip code, and the system maps their shopping list ingredients to Walmart products. They can review and adjust product matches before completing their purchase.
Appetise: Members can click "Shop Online" to send their shopping list ingredients to Appetise, which will handle the rest.
Enabling and Configuring Integrations
Instacart Integration
Enable the Integration: In the Grocery section of App Station, toggle the Instacart integration on.
Region Availability: This integration is only visible in the US and Canada. Ensure that your region supports Instacart.
Member Access: Once enabled, members will see the "Shop with Instacart" button on their shopping lists.
Walmart Integration
Enable the Integration: In the Grocery section of App Station, toggle the Walmart integration on.
Region Availability: This integration is available only in the US. Ensure that your region supports Walmart.
Member Access: After enabling, members will see the "Shop at Walmart" button on their shopping lists.
Appetise Integration
Enable the Integration: In the Grocery section of App Station, toggle the Appetise integration on.
Partner ID: Enter the partner ID provided by Appetise. This step is crucial for the integration to function correctly.
Region Availability: This integration is available for members in Australia and New Zealand. Ensure that your region supports Appetise.
Member Access: Once enabled, members will see the "Shop Online" button on their shopping lists.
Note: The Appetise integration requires the bootstrap script to be loaded only after the integration is enabled and the partner ID is set.
