Overview of Grocery Shopping Integrations

Member Kitchens offers integrations with two major grocery shopping services: Instacart and Walmart. These integrations allow your members to seamlessly transfer their shopping list ingredients to these platforms for easy purchasing.

Instacart Integration

With the Instacart integration, members can click a button on their shopping list to create a shopping list page on Instacart. The process is straightforward:

  1. Members click the Shop with Instacart button.

  2. Instacart handles product matching and checkout.

  3. Members are redirected to the Instacart marketplace to complete their purchase.

Walmart Integration

The Walmart integration allows members to:

  1. Click the Shop at Walmart button from their shopping list.

  2. Enter their zip code (this can be saved for future use).

  3. Review and adjust product matches before proceeding to checkout.

Enabling and Configuring Integrations

To enable these integrations, follow these steps:

1. Access Integrations

Navigate to the Integrations section in the App Station:

  • Go to App Station.

  • Select Settings.

  • Click on Integrations.

2. Enable Instacart

  • Find the Instacart Integration option.

  • Toggle the switch to enable it.

  • Save your changes.

3. Enable Walmart

  • Locate the Walmart Integration option.

  • Toggle the switch to enable it.

  • Save your changes.

Once both integrations are enabled, members will see the respective buttons on their shopping lists.

What Members See

When members access their shopping lists, they will see the following options:

  • Shop with Instacart: Clicking this will take them to Instacart, where their ingredients are pre-loaded for shopping.

  • Shop at Walmart: Members will be prompted to enter their zip code, and then they can review product matches before proceeding to Walmart's checkout.

This seamless integration not only enhances the shopping experience but also encourages members to engage more with your content by making meal planning easier.
