Review and publish your challenge

Updated this week

✅ Review and Publish Your Challenge

Once you’ve finished setting your Challenge Attributes, Members, and Timeline, the last step is to review everything and publish. This stage ensures your Challenge is complete, accurate, and ready for your members.

Publishing makes the Challenge visible and joinable to the subscription levels you selected earlier.

🔍 The Review Page

When you reach the Review & Publish step, you’ll see a full summary of:

  • Challenge Title & Summary

  • Authorized Subscription Levels

  • Enrolled Members (optional)

  • The entire Timeline, with steps shown in order

This gives you one final chance to confirm that everything looks right.

Highlighted Timeline Issues

If any timeline steps have missing details or conflicts, they will be highlighted so you can fix them before publishing.

You can return to any previous step to make adjustments before publishing.

🔒 What Becomes Locked After Publishing?

Once a Challenge is published:

Item

Can it be changed?

Details

Attributes (Title, Summary, Mode, etc.)

❌ Locked

These define the Challenge identity.

Timeline

❌ Locked

Keeps the experience consistent for all participants.

Authorized Subscription Levels

❌ Locked

Locks down the access.

Challenge Members

✅ Editable

You can continue adding/removing members if conditions are met.

Because the Attributes and Timeline cannot be changed after publishing, take a moment to review your setup carefully.

🗓️ Scheduling Your Publish Date

You control when the Challenge becomes available.

  1. Click Schedule Publishing

  2. Choose a date and time (in your own timezone)

  3. Confirm to schedule

Publish Immediately

If you select a date/time in the past, the Challenge will publish right away.

👁️ What Happens When Published

When published, the Challenge:

  • Becomes visible to members in the subscription levels you selected

  • Can be joined (Solo) or prepared for a shared start date (Group)

  • Begins unlocking timeline steps as members progress

Nothing becomes active before the publish date.

⋯ More Actions (Challenge Options Menu)

Every Challenge has a More menu where you can:

Action

What It Does

Duplicate

Creates a draft copy you can edit and reuse (great for recurring challenges).

Unpublish

Makes the Challenge no longer visible or joinable; progress stops.

Delete

Permanently removes the Challenge and all related data — as if it never existed.

⚠️ Delete is permanent. Only use this if you are certain.

🧠 Best Practices Before Publishing

  • Read your step titles the way a member will see them — do they feel clear and guiding?

  • Double-check that your Days Offsets match your intended pacing.

  • Make sure the first step makes members feel welcomed and oriented.

If you’re running a Group Challenge, consider drafting your kickoff email or announcement before scheduling the publish date.

🎉 Once Published…

Your challenge is live! You’re ready to:

  • Promote it

  • Invite members

  • Build engagement through notifications

  • Celebrate progress with your community
