Quick Start
Go to the Content Library in App Station.
Select a recipe from the list.

Uploading Recipe Photos
To add photos to your recipes, simply drag and drop images into the media section or click the upload button. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and GIF. Ensure that your images are optimized for web use to maintain fast loading times.
Uploading Videos
You can add videos to your recipes in two ways: by uploading directly or by embedding from external platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
Direct Video Upload
Click the Upload Video button in the media section.
Select your video file. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, and AVI. Ensure your video file size does not exceed 500 MB.
Once uploaded, the video will be processed, and a thumbnail will be generated.
Embedding External Videos
To embed a video from an external platform:
Click the Embed Video option in the media section.
Paste the embed code from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
Ensure the embed code is valid and does not exceed 10,000 characters.
Tip: Always check that your embed code is working by previewing the recipe after saving.
Setting a Custom Video Poster
For videos uploaded directly, you can set a custom thumbnail:
Click the Poster button on the video in the media gallery.
In the Poster modal, you have two options:
Pick Video Frame: Scrub through the video timeline and select a frame.
Upload Image: Upload a custom image cropped to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Remember, choosing one option will clear the other, so select carefully.
The chosen poster will be used across all instances where the video appears, including cards, detail pages, and galleries.
Important Notes
Videos must be processed before they can be played. You will see a "Video Processing..." message until the video is ready.
Admins can always access all content regardless of access level settings.
Ensure your videos are engaging and relevant to the recipes to keep your subscribers interested.
