Metrics Overview
The Video Engagement dashboard displays several important metrics:
Views
This metric shows the number of times your videos have been started or completed, giving you insight into overall interest.
Watch Time
This represents the total time your members have spent watching videos. It helps you gauge how engaging your content is.
Top Videos
Here, you'll find a list of the videos that performed best during the selected period. This can guide your content creation strategy by highlighting what resonates with your audience.
Quality Summaries
This section provides high-level indicators of playback quality, such as rebuffering events or exit points. These insights can help you understand the viewing experience and make improvements if necessary.
Period Selector
At the top of the dashboard, you can use the period selector to align the displayed metrics with other analytics pages. This allows for a more comprehensive analysis of your content performance over time.
Read-Only Analytics
It's important to note that the Video Engagement dashboard is read-only. This means you can view analytics data, but you cannot change how videos are stored or displayed from this interface. Any configurations related to video uploads or embeds are managed separately in the content editor.
Accessing Video Engagement Analytics
Video engagement analytics are typically included in your standard analytics package. If you find that the feature is locked or unavailable, it may not be enabled for your account.
For further insights into your video performance, regularly check the Video Engagement dashboard to stay informed about how your content is performing and how your members are engaging with it.
