Why: Simplify your monetization strategy by creating various offers for your members. Whether it's a subscription, one-time purchase, or free offer, you can easily manage access levels and payment processing to enhance your business model.

Navigate: App Station > Monetization > Offers

Quick Start

  1. Click the Add Offer button in the top right corner.

  2. Select the type of offer you want to create: Subscription, One-Time, or Free.

  3. Fill in the offer details, including name, description, and access levels.

  4. Set the pricing options and connect your Stripe account for payment processing.

  5. Click Save to publish your offer.

Understanding Offers

Offers are the products that your members can purchase to gain access to content. They can be structured as:

  • Subscription Offers: Recurring payments for ongoing access.

  • One-Time Offers: A single payment for lifetime access.

  • Free Offers: No cost, providing access without payment.

Each offer can grant one or more access levels, allowing you to control what content members can access based on their purchase.

Creating an Offer

To create an offer, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Offers Section: Go to App Station > Monetization > Offers.

  2. Click on Add Offer: This will open the offer creation wizard.

  3. Choose Offer Type: Select from Subscription, One-Time, or Free.

  4. Fill in Offer Details:

    • Name: Give your offer a clear and descriptive name.

    • Description: Provide details about what the offer includes.

    • Access Levels: Select which access levels this offer will grant.

  5. Set Pricing:

    • For subscriptions, choose the billing interval (monthly, yearly, etc.).

    • For one-time offers, set a fixed price.

  6. Connect Stripe: Ensure your Stripe account is connected for payment processing. This is essential for handling transactions securely.

  7. Save the Offer: Click the Save button to publish your offer.

Connecting Stripe for Payments

Before creating offers, you need to connect your Stripe account. This allows you to manage payments and subscriptions seamlessly. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to Checkout Settings: In the Offers section, go to the Checkout Settings tab.

  2. Connect Your Stripe Account: Follow the prompts to link your Stripe account.

  3. Configure Payment Methods: Choose which payment methods you want to accept (e.g., credit cards, Afterpay).

Granting Access Levels

Each offer can grant access to specific content based on the access levels you set. Here’s how it works:

  • Access Levels: These are permission tiers that control what content users can see. You can create custom access levels for different subscription types or content categories.

  • Offer Configuration: When creating an offer, select the access levels that will be granted to members who purchase that offer.

Unlisted Offers

You can create unlisted offers that are hidden from the upgrade page but still purchasable via direct checkout links. This is useful for special promotions or limited-time offers.

  • Setting Unlisted Offers: When creating or editing an offer, toggle the Unlisted option to hide it from public view while keeping it available for purchase through a direct link.

Switching Between Offers

Members can switch between any active subscription offers directly from their Customer Portal. This is automatically managed by Member Kitchens, so you don’t need to set anything up in the Stripe Dashboard.

  • Resyncing the Member Portal: If you make changes to offers and they don’t appear in the portal, use the Resync member portal button found under App Station > Monetization > Offers > Checkout Settings.

Managing Promo Codes

You can create promo codes to offer discounts on your offers. This can help drive sales and encourage sign-ups.

  1. Navigate to the Promo Codes Tab: In the Offers section, go to the Promo Codes tab.

  2. Add a New Promo Code: Click the Add Promo Code button and fill in the details, including discount type and value.

  3. Save Your Promo Code: Once created, members can use this code during checkout for discounts.
