Detailed Sections
Time Labels
Time Labels help your members understand the time commitment for recipes. You can customize the following labels:
Prep Time: The time needed to prepare ingredients.
Cook Time: The time required for cooking.
Rest Time: The time a dish should sit before serving.
Active Time: The time spent actively working on the recipe.
Total Time: The sum of all the above times.
These labels were previously found under Content Settings > Recipes. Customizing these labels allows you to align them with your brand voice or clarify their meaning for your audience. If you leave any field blank, it will revert to the default label, which respects the member's language setting. For example, Spanish members will see the Spanish translations when no override is set.
Bite Labels
Bite Labels are used to describe bite-sized content within your app. You can customize:
Bite Label (singular): Refers to a single bite.
Bites Label (plural): Refers to multiple bites.
These labels appear wherever "Bite" is mentioned in the member interface, such as in floating action buttons, badges, and tabs. As with Time Labels, leaving these fields blank will revert to the default labels.
My Stuff Label
The My Stuff Label allows you to rename the member hub page heading and other related elements. This includes:
The heading on the My Stuff page.
Breadcrumbs leading to the My Stuff section.
The avatar menu item.
The error-page link directing users back to My Stuff.
The default title for the My Stuff Hub block.
Customizing this label can help create a more personalized experience for your members. Again, if you leave this field blank, it will revert to the default "My Stuff," which is localized based on the member's language.
Important Notes
Remember that any blank input will revert to the default labels.
The default labels respect the member's language settings, ensuring a seamless experience for users in different languages.
By customizing these display labels, you can enhance the clarity and appeal of your app, making it more engaging for your members. For more details on managing your app settings, check out the Platform Overview.
