Why: Speed up your workflow in App Station by using the Quick Access Bar to quickly navigate to your most recent content, frequently visited pages, and favorite links. This feature helps you save time and stay organized, allowing you to focus more on creating great content for your subscribers.
Navigate: App Station > Any Page
The Quick Access Bar is a slide-out panel located on the right side of the screen, available only on desktop devices (1024px and wider). It provides you with fast access to three key features:
Recent Content: View the last 10 content items you edited, including recipes, meal plans, and resources.
Recent Pages: Access the last 10 App Station pages you visited.
Favorites: Pin your most-used App Station links for quick navigation.
Quick Start
Click the lightning bolt icon on the right edge of any App Station page to open the Quick Access Bar.
Navigate between the Content, Pages, and Favorites tabs.
To pin a page as a favorite, click the star icon next to the page link in the Pages tab.
To clear your recent pages, click the Clear History button in the Pages tab.
Close the Quick Access Bar by clicking the close button or clicking outside the panel.
Detailed Sections
Opening the Quick Access Bar
To open the Quick Access Bar, simply click the lightning bolt icon located on the right edge of any App Station page. This will slide out the panel, giving you immediate access to your recent content, pages, and favorites.
Using the Quick Access Bar Tabs
The Quick Access Bar contains three tabs:
Recent Content
This tab displays the last 10 content items you edited. You can click on any item to quickly navigate back to it for further editing.
Recent Pages
Here, you’ll find the last 10 App Station pages you visited. You can click any page link to return to it.
To pin a page as a favorite, click the star icon next to the page link. Pinned favorites will also appear at the top of the streamlined App Station sidebar.
Favorites
This tab shows all the pages you have pinned for quick access. You can click any favorite link to navigate directly to that page.
To remove a favorite, click the remove icon next to the page link.
Clearing History
If you want to reset your recent pages, you can easily clear your history:
Go to the Pages tab in the Quick Access Bar.
Click the Clear History button. This will remove all entries from your recent pages list.
Tip: Regularly clearing your history can help keep your Quick Access Bar organized, especially if you frequently navigate to new pages.
Syncing Across Devices
Your pinned favorites are stored in the database and sync across devices. This means you can access your favorite links from any desktop where you log into your account.
Accessibility
The Quick Access Bar is designed with accessibility in mind. It includes features such as:
Keyboard navigation: You can use the keyboard to navigate through the tabs and close the panel.
Screen reader support: The panel is labeled appropriately for screen readers, ensuring all users can access its features.
