Navigate: App Station > Settings > Engagement Hub
Quick Start
Go to the Engagement Hub in your App Station settings.
Enable or disable Favorites, Ratings, and Comments as needed.
Configure the Gamification settings to set points for actions like favorites and comments.
Set up Achievement Badges to recognize member milestones.
Customize the Google Review Prompt to gather feedback from engaged members.
Engagement Tracking
The engagement system allows you to track how members interact with your content through favorites, ratings, and comments. Here’s how to configure each feature:
Favorites
Enable/Disable: Toggle the favorites feature on or off.
Content Types: Choose which content types (e.g., recipes, meal plans) can be favorited.
Heart Color: Select a color for the heart icon that members will use to favorite content.
Ratings
Enable/Disable: Toggle the ratings feature on or off.
Content Types: Choose which content types can be rated.
Star Color: Pick a color for the star rating system.
Comments
Enable/Disable: Toggle the comments feature on or off.
Content Types: Select which content types allow comments.
Moderation Mode: Choose between pre-approval or reactive moderation for comments.
Max Comment Length: Set a limit on how long comments can be.
Tip: Regularly review comments and feedback to engage with your members and improve your content.
Gamification
Gamification adds a fun and interactive layer to your app by rewarding members for their engagement. Here’s how to set it up:
Points System
Points per Action: Customize how many points members earn for actions like favoriting a recipe or posting a comment.
Leaderboards: Enable public leaderboards to showcase top members based on points earned.
Achievement Badges
Create Badges: Design badges that members can earn for reaching milestones, such as completing their first recipe or achieving a streak.
Trigger Types: Set triggers for when badges are awarded, such as after a certain number of favorites or comments.
Rewards
Define Rewards: Create rewards that members can claim using their points, such as discounts or exclusive content access.
Completion Tracking
Completion tracking allows members to mark content as done, such as recipes they've cooked or challenges they've completed. This feature helps track user progress and can be integrated with gamification to award badges for completed tasks.
Configuration
Enable/Disable: Toggle the completion tracking feature.
Content Types: Choose which content types support completion tracking.
Google Review Prompt
The Google Review Prompt encourages engaged members to provide feedback about their experience. This feature can help you gather valuable insights and improve your app.
Setup
Enable/Disable: Toggle the Google Review prompt on or off.
Trigger Threshold: Set the engagement milestone that triggers the prompt (e.g., after a certain number of interactions).
Custom Prompt Text: Personalize the prompt with your app name and a custom message.
Member Flow
Members interact with your app, reaching the threshold for the prompt.
The prompt asks if they are enjoying the app.
Positive responses lead to a Google review link, while negative responses allow for private feedback.
Note: Ensure the Google Review prompt is configured properly to maximize feedback collection.
