Why: Boost member interaction and satisfaction by tracking engagement, rewarding activities, and encouraging feedback. This helps you create a vibrant community and retain subscribers.

Navigate: App Station > Features > Engagement

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Engagement settings in App Station.

  2. Enable or disable Favorites, Ratings, and Comments as needed.

  3. Configure point values for gamification actions.

  4. Set up achievement badges for user milestones.

  5. Customize the Google Review prompt settings.

Engagement Tracking

The engagement system allows you to track how your members interact with your content. You can enable features such as:

  • Favorites: Members can save content they love.

  • Ratings: Members can rate content on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

  • Comments: Members can leave comments and receive replies from you.

Configuration

To configure these features, navigate to the Engagement settings in App Station. Here, you can enable or disable each feature for specific content types and customize their appearance.

  1. Favorites: Toggle the feature on or off and choose which content types can be favorited.

  2. Ratings: Enable ratings and select which content types can be rated.

  3. Comments: Turn on comments and set moderation preferences (e.g., pre-approval or reactive).

Gamification

Gamification adds a fun layer to your app by rewarding members for their activities. Here’s how it works:

  • Points Economy: Members earn points for actions like favoriting recipes, rating content, and posting comments.

  • Achievement Badges: You can award badges for reaching milestones, such as completing a certain number of activities.

  • Leaderboards: Display top point earners to encourage friendly competition among members.

  • Rewards System: Define rewards that members can claim with their points.

Setting Up Gamification

In the Gamification settings, you can:

  1. Enable or disable the gamification system.

  2. Customize point values for each action (e.g., 5 points for favoriting a recipe).

  3. Create and manage achievement badges.

  4. Set up a public leaderboard to showcase top members.

Completion Tracking

Completion tracking allows members to mark content as done, such as recipes they've cooked or challenges they've completed. This feature supports:

  • Tracking Progress: Members can see their accomplishments and how often they’ve engaged with your content.

  • Gamification Integration: Earn badges for completing content, encouraging further interaction.

Configuring Completion Tracking

To enable this feature:

  1. Go to the Engagement settings.

  2. Enable completion tracking for specific content types (e.g., recipes, meal plans).

  3. Customize the labels that members will see when they mark content as completed.

Google Review Prompt

Encourage members to leave positive feedback by configuring the Google Review prompt. This feature helps you gather valuable reviews while allowing members to provide private feedback if they are not satisfied.

Setting Up the Google Review Prompt

  1. Navigate to the Google Reviews tab in the Engagement settings.

  2. Enable the prompt and enter your Google Place ID.

  3. Customize the prompt title and message to fit your brand.

Member Flow

When eligible members interact with the app, they will see a satisfaction check. If they respond positively, they will be directed to leave a Google review. If they have concerns, they can provide private feedback.
