Engagement tracking allows you to monitor how your members interact with your content. You can enable or disable the following features:

  • Content Types: Choose which content types (recipes, meal plans, etc.) can be favorited.

  • Heart Color: Customize the heart icon color.

Ratings

  • Enable/Disable: Allow members to rate content on a scale of 1-5 stars.

  • Content Types: Select which content types can be rated.

  • Star Color: Choose the color for the star ratings.

Comments

  • Enable/Disable: Allow members to leave comments on content.

  • Content Types: Specify which content types can have comments.

  • Moderation Mode: Choose between pre-approval or reactive moderation.

  • Max Comment Length: Set a limit on how long comments can be.

You can configure these settings in the Engagement & Community section of the App Station.

Gamification

Gamification adds a fun and competitive element to your app by rewarding members for their activities. Here’s how to set it up:

Key Features

  • Points Economy: Members earn points for actions like favoriting, rating, and commenting.

  • Configurable Point Values: Customize how many points each action is worth.

  • Achievement Badges: Automatically award badges for reaching milestones.

  • Leaderboards: Display top members based on points earned.

  • Rewards System: Define rewards that members can claim with their points.

Configuration Steps

  1. Go to the Gamification tab in the Engagement & Community settings.

  2. Enable or disable gamification.

  3. Set point values for various actions (e.g., 5 points for favoriting a recipe).

  4. Create and manage achievement badges.

  5. Set up a public leaderboard to encourage competition among members.

Completion Tracking

Completion tracking allows members to mark content as completed, such as recipes they've cooked or challenges they've finished. This feature supports gamification by allowing members to earn badges for completing content.

How It Works

  • Members can toggle completion status for content.

  • Track how many times a member has completed a piece of content.

  • Integrate with gamification to award badges for first completions or reaching completion milestones.

Configuration

  1. In the Engagement & Community settings, enable completion tracking.

  2. Choose which content types can be marked as completed.

Google Review Prompt

Encourage engaged members to leave Google reviews about your app. This feature prompts members after they've interacted with your content.

Setup

  1. Navigate to the Google Reviews tab in the Engagement & Community settings.

  2. Enable the prompt and enter your Google Place ID.

  3. Customize the prompt title and message if desired.

Member Flow

  • Members will see a prompt after a certain number of interactions.

  • They can choose to leave a review or provide private feedback.

Eligibility Rules

  • Members must be authenticated and meet specific engagement milestones to see the prompt.
