Why: Tailor your email notifications to better engage your members and keep them informed about new content, ensuring they never miss an update.
Navigate: App Station > Templates > Email Templates
Quick Start
Go to App Station and select Templates.
Click on Email and navigate to the Notifications tab.
Choose the email template you want to customize.
Edit the Subject Line and Email Body using available template variables.
Click Save to apply your changes.

Overview of Email Templates
You can customize email templates for various notifications sent to your members. This includes emails for:
New meal plans
New blog posts
Forum activity
Admin announcements
Journey step unlocks
Each template allows you to personalize the subject line, body content, and push notification text.
Editable Template Fields
Each notification template has four main fields you can customize:
Subject Line: The email subject with support for template variables.
Email Body: Rich HTML content that can include images and links.
Button Label: Custom text for the call-to-action button; if left blank, the default will be used.
Push Notification: A short text for push notifications (recommended under 100 characters).
Available Template Variables
You can use the following variables in your templates to personalize the content:
{{appName}}: Your app's name{{contentTitle}}: Title of the published content (meal plan or blog post){{title}}: Title of an admin announcement{{body}}: Body content of an admin announcement{{topicTitle}}: Title of a forum topic{{categoryName}}: Name of the forum category{{authorName}}: Name of the person who posted in the forum{{journeyTitle}}: Title of the journey{{stepTitle}}: Title of the journey step{{firstName}}: Member's first name
Tip: Use the {{firstName}} variable in your templates to create a more personal connection with your members.
Previewing Changes
After making edits to your templates, you can send a test email to yourself. This allows you to see how the changes will appear to your members before finalizing them. Simply click the Send Test Email button in the template editor.
Resetting to Defaults
If you want to revert any changes you've made, you can easily reset the template to its original default content. Look for the Reset to Defaults option in the template editor.
Important Notes
All template bodies are stored as HTML, so you can include rich formatting.
Changes made to templates will affect all future emails sent to members, so review your edits carefully.
