Understanding Content Engagement Analytics
The Content Engagement Analytics dashboard provides a narrative-driven overview of how your members interact with various content types, including recipes, meal plans, resources, courses, and blog posts. Instead of overwhelming you with raw data, it highlights key wins, offers actionable recommendations, and presents detailed metrics for deeper analysis.
Key Features of the Dashboard
Overview Insights: The dashboard showcases insights that summarize member engagement. These insights include celebrations for high-performing content, recommendations for improvement, and alerts for content needing attention.
Detailed Engagement Metrics: You can dive deeper into specific content items to view detailed engagement data, including views, favorites, ratings, and comments.
Engagement Score: Each content item is assigned an engagement score based on various factors, such as views, favorites, and completions. This score helps you identify which content resonates most with your audience.
Types of Insights
The insights generated by the dashboard can be categorized into several types:
Celebrations: Highlights successes, such as top-performing content or milestones achieved (e.g., reaching a certain number of favorites).
Recommendations: Suggestions for content that may need improvement, such as items with low engagement or no recent views.
Warnings: Alerts for content that may be underperforming, such as items with low ratings.
Period Controls
You can filter the analytics data based on different time periods, such as the last 7 days, 30 days, or specific months. This allows you to analyze trends over time and see how engagement changes with your content strategy.
Acting on Insights
Once you have reviewed the insights, you can take action to enhance your content strategy:
Improve Content: Use feedback and ratings to refine your existing content or create new offerings that align with member interests.
Adjust Access Levels: Consider changing access levels for specific content based on its performance to ensure members are getting the best experience.
Follow Up with Members: Engage with members who have provided feedback or ratings to foster community and encourage further interaction.
Accessing Detailed Engagement Data
To view detailed metrics for a specific content item, click on it from the overview. This will provide you with time-series charts, rating distributions, and recent feedback, giving you a comprehensive view of how that content is performing.
