Why: Understand your members' activity levels to boost retention and engagement. By identifying who is highly active, who is cooling off, and who may need a nudge, you can tailor your outreach and content strategies effectively.

Navigate: App Station > Analytics > Member Engagement

The Member Engagement dashboard provides valuable insights into your members' activity levels. It helps you identify engagement trends, allowing you to take proactive steps to enhance community interaction and retention.

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Member Engagement dashboard in App Station.

  2. Select a time frame for your analysis (e.g., last 30 days).

  3. Review the engagement buckets to identify highly engaged and at-risk members.

  4. Check the milestones to see any achievements or progress indicators.

  5. Use the insights to plan follow-up actions or campaigns.

Detailed Sections

Engagement Buckets

Engagement buckets categorize your members based on their recent activity. Common groupings include:

  • Highly Engaged: Members who are actively interacting with your content.

  • At-Risk: Members who have shown a decline in activity and may need encouragement to re-engage.

These buckets help you focus your efforts where they are most needed, ensuring that you can nurture relationships with both active and at-risk members.

Milestones

Milestones are signals that indicate progress or achievements within your app. When gamification or engagement triggers are enabled, you can track these milestones to celebrate member achievements. This can enhance motivation and encourage continued engagement.

At-Risk Concepts

Identifying at-risk members is crucial for retention. By monitoring engagement levels, you can spot members who may need a nudge to stay active. This proactive approach allows you to reach out with tailored content or offers to re-engage them.

Plan Gating for Engagement Triggers

Access to the Member Engagement dashboard may be gated based on your current plan. If you encounter an upgrade prompt, it indicates that your plan may not include this feature. Ensure you have the necessary features enabled to fully utilize the dashboard's capabilities.

Practical Next Steps

  1. Set a Time Frame: Choose a relevant time frame for your analysis, such as the last 30 days, to align with your outreach efforts.

  2. Analyze Engagement Levels: Focus on at-risk or low-engagement segments, especially before renewals or new launches.

  3. Integrate Insights: Combine your findings with member management and email automation tools (like Klaviyo) to create targeted follow-up campaigns.

By leveraging the insights from the Member Engagement dashboard, you can create a more engaging experience for your members and enhance retention efforts.
