Why: Gain valuable insights into your subscriber base and revenue trends to make informed decisions that enhance your app's growth and engagement.

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Analytics section in the App Station sidebar.

  2. Click on Members & Revenue.

  3. Select your desired time period using the period selector.

  4. Review the member overview and engagement metrics.

  5. Analyze revenue trends and cancellation reasons.

Overview

The Members & Revenue dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your app's subscriber metrics and revenue performance. This dashboard is split into two main sections: Members and Revenue.

Members Section

This section displays key metrics related to your subscribers, including:

  • Total Members: The total number of users with the member role.

  • Active Members: Members with an active subscription status.

  • Trialing Members: Members currently in a trial period.

  • Past Due Members: Members whose payments are past due.

  • Canceled Members: Members who have canceled their subscriptions.

  • Suspended Members: Members who are currently suspended.

You can also view engagement metrics, such as:

  • Daily Active Users (DAU): Members who have engaged within the last 24 hours.

  • Weekly Active Users (WAU): Members engaged in the last 7 days.

  • Monthly Active Users (MAU): Members engaged in the last 30 days.

  • Never Logged In: Members who have never logged into the app.

Revenue Section

When you have a connected payment account, this section displays important revenue metrics, including:

  • Current Revenue: Total revenue generated during the selected period.

  • Previous Period Revenue: Revenue from the comparable previous period for comparison.

  • Successful Charges: The number of successful payment transactions.

  • Refunds: Total amount refunded during the selected period.

  • Active Subscriptions: The count of members with active subscriptions.

Cancellation Reasons

A horizontal bar chart shows the reasons why members canceled their subscriptions during the selected period. This data helps you understand member behavior and improve retention strategies.

Member Growth Chart

A line chart visualizes daily new member signups over the selected period, allowing you to track growth trends effectively.

Period Selector

You can analyze data over various time periods:

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

  • Last 90 Days

  • This Month

  • Last Month

Selecting a period will update the dashboard to reflect the relevant metrics for that timeframe.

Differences from Billing Tab

It's important to note that the Members & Revenue dashboard focuses on analytics and trends, while the Billing Tab under Settings > Offers provides operational details about invoices and payment processing. Use the Members & Revenue dashboard to gain insights into subscriber engagement and revenue trends, and refer to the Billing Tab for specific billing operations.
