Why: Easily manage and track your members' subscriptions and billing information, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and your subscribers.

Navigate: App Station > Monetization > Billing

Quick Start

  1. Go to the App Station and select Monetization from the sidebar.

  2. Click on Billing to view your members' subscription and billing information.

  3. To manage a member's subscription, click the Manage Subscription button on their profile.

  4. In the Stripe Customer Portal, members can switch plans, update payment methods, view invoices, and cancel subscriptions.

  5. Review the revenue dashboard under Analytics > Members & Revenue for insights into your earnings and member engagement.

Viewing Member Billing Information

In the Billing section, you can access detailed information about your members' subscriptions, including:

  • Current Plan: Displays the active subscription status, billing amount, currency, and next billing date.

  • One-Time Purchases: Lists any lifetime or duration-based purchases made by the member.

  • Access Levels: Shows all access levels the member currently has, making it easy to manage their permissions.

  • Invoice History: Provides a table view of past invoices, including dates and amounts, with links to download PDFs.

Managing Member Subscriptions

When you want to help a member manage their subscription, you can direct them to the Manage Subscription button found in their profile. This button opens the Stripe Customer Portal, which is automatically configured for your app. Here’s what members can do in the portal:

  • Switch Plans: Members can switch between any active subscription offers, such as from monthly to annual or from one tier to another (e.g., Silver to Gold).

  • Update Payment Method: They can easily change their payment information.

  • View Invoices: Members can access their billing history and download invoices.

  • Cancel Subscription: If they choose to cancel, it will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

No additional setup in the Stripe Dashboard is required for you as the admin; everything is managed automatically.

Revenue Dashboard

To gain insights into your app's financial performance, navigate to the Members & Revenue dashboard under Analytics. This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of:

  • Total Members: See how many members are currently active, trialing, past due, canceled, or suspended.

  • Engagement Metrics: Track daily, weekly, and monthly active users to understand member engagement.

  • Revenue Summary: View total revenue, successful charges, refunds, and active subscriptions.

This information helps you make informed decisions about your content and offers, ensuring you can optimize your business strategy effectively.
